Codger's Cove on Howard Lake MN features 104 lots for an ideal lake location less than an hour away from Minneapolis. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a seasonal stay, our campground offers a peaceful retreat with various amenities to make your experience enjoyable. 

  • Do you have overnight or seasonal sites available?
    Codger's Cove offers both overnight and seasonal sites.
  • What dates are you open?
    Our season runs from May 1st through September 30th
  • Is there a size restriction for campers or RV's?
    Yes, maximum length is 40 feet long. Be sure to ask about your specific lot as some have shorter maximums or are more difficult to back into.
  • What amperage do you offer for electrical hookup?
    We offer a 50 amp service at each site.
  • Do you allow pets?
    Yes, they must be leashed and you are responsible for picking up after them! ***Max 2 pets per site***
  • What type of fish are on Howard Lake?
    Panfish, Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Perch.
  • Do you allow tent camping?
    No, we do not allow tent camping.
  • Do you have weekly and monthly rates available for camping?
    Yes, please call for rates. See rates under pricing.
  • Do you have planned activities on the weekend?
    Most weekends will have some kind of planned event or activity. Upcoming Events are listed on the calendar.
  • Do you have water and sewer hook-ups to the lots?
    Yes, there is a city water and city sewer available at each site.
  • Do you have quiet time?
    Yes, from 11:00PM to 8:00AM daily
  • Do I have to remove in the winter?
    For seasonal residents who have paid the deposit for the following season, you may remain on the site for the winter season, otherwise it must be removed. Otherwise you must be off the site by October 1st.
